SCHOOL EDUCATION AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES
COMMITMENT TO UNDERSTAND CHILDREN

“True education must help individuals to understand their oneness with the world and celebrate their uniqueness in it,” said Dewey. We try to keep this clarion call in mind when we design our school. The paradoxical juxtaposition of individual uniqueness and collective togetherness is a determinant of both the beauty of life and the challenges it offers.

Our school has been keen on finding an intelligent balance between content and form in all its endeavours. This intent will influence more aspects of the school's functioning next year. We will be completing some of the ongoing projects like swimming pool etc. operational and adding substantially to the infrastructural facilities like athletic field, cricket field, football field and a completely new well–designed school building. We expect these to be functional in the next few months.

The new school building will be having facilities for aesthetic development of children in fields like fine arts, performing arts including dramatics. The new building will also have classrooms, which are more spacious to enable activity–based teaching learning especially for the junior classes. There will be subject based research resource rooms cum study centres for the faculty members. These resource centres will have a rich collection of interesting and informative teaching aids so that a scintillating academic and intellectual environment is available to enable an enriching ambience to our esteemed faculty members.

We will intensify the initiatives begun this year towards child–centred academic approach and initiatives next year until the school culture becomes caring towards children and staff members.

There will be further enhancement and enrichment of the faculty base by inviting distinguished and experienced teachers preferably with residential school experience. We will also continue to provide customized teacher–development inputs.

The school management philosophy and management approach will continue to be based on the principles of collaboration, shared decision making and delegated empowerment, which will provide a nurturing and caring environment for faculty members so that the school becomes an intensively learning environment with faculty members and students living and growing in a joyous manner.

The school management is determined to make the school stronger, subtler and better in every aspect so that it can draw and retain the best faculty and promising students.
